Studies On The Active Constituents Of Hypericum Japonicum Thumb.ex Murray

Hypericum japonicum Thunb.ex Murray, a one-year growth herb, which usually grows 10~40cm high and flowers from May to June, widely distributes in south drainage area of the Changjiang River, in China.At present, the ethanol extract from Hypericum japonicum has been made up to injection and sirup for the treatment of hepatitis. It was also reported its bioactivities of antibacterial, antitumor and cardiovascular systerm protecting. Ishiguro K and Li-Hong Hu. et al. had reported the isolation of several compounds, but the bioactive study of the active compounds was not deeply. Here, we investigated the active constituents of it systematically. Thirty-three compounds were isolated from the whole plant of Hypericum japonicum by silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, MCI gel CH-20P and Polyacylamine chromatography and twenty-seven compounds were identified as follow by chemical reaction and spectral analysis: TJH-1: stigmasterol TJH-2: n-trideccanoll TJH-3: hexacosanoic alcohol 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy phenyl)-trans-acryliceylenate TJH-4: betulinic acid TJH-5: 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzoic acid TJH-6: tetratriacontanoic acid TJH-7: 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid TJH-8: 6-deoxyisojacareubin TJH-9: isojacareubin TJH-10:1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxyxanthonin TJH-11:1,3,6,7-tetrahydroxyxanthonin TJH-12:1,3,5,6-tetrahydroxy-prenyIxanthone TJH-13: japonicaxanthoneside TJH-14: 3,6,7-trishydroxy-l-methoxyxanthone TJH-15: jacarelhyperol A TJH-16: bijaponicaxanthone TJH-17: jacarelhyperol C TJH-18: jacarelhyperol D TJH-19: kaempferol TJH-20: quercetinTJH-21: 5,7,3',4' -tetrahydroxy-3-metnoxyflavone TJH-22: quercitrin TJH-23: isoquercitrin TJH-24: quercetin -7- O- rhamnosied TJH-25:3,5,7,3',5'-pentahydroxyflavonol TJH-26: 3,7-dihydroxychromone-5-O-rhamnoside...
