There are series of pathological changes in delayed fluid resuscitation following severe thermal injury; if suitable drug treatment were approached in earlier of burn, perhaps, it could be avoided or relieved the aboved pathological changes. There were confirmed by the experiment that Dexamethasone, Nimodipine and Panax NotoginSeng Saponins respectively could improve vasopermeability and lessen pathological lesion in lung of rats postburn; and the best drug grouping (Dexamethasone:Nimodipine: Panax NotoginSeng Saponins=5 mg/kg: 120 ug/kg:100 mg/kg) were found from different groupings and dosages among Dexamethasone, Nimodipine and Panax NotoginSeng Saponins. The best drug grouping could obviously reduce level of TNF-α and ET-1 in serum of rats postburn, restrain excessive increase of concentration of IL-10 and NO and maintain its at proper level, and down-regulate expression of E-selectin in lung of burned rats after delayed fluid resuscitation. It was suggested if medicine would be administered in earlier stage of burn, and could reduce vasopermeability, water content of tissues at some extent and relieve pathological lesion of organs.
