Clinical Study Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome By The Traditional Chinese Medicine Of Observing The Syndrome To Treat

Objective: to making the clinical and practical observing, analyzing and summing-up of theating polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) by the traditional Chinese medicine of observing the syndrome of the patients, at the same time .to evaluate the mechanism of such method to treat PCOS.Methods: pcos patients(n=60) were generalized the type of phlegm and damp, the type of weak kidney with the stagnation of blood ang the stagnation of liver by observing the syndrome to theat.observing the clinical curative effect and many indexs after three months,the index were BBT, F-G, BM I ,WH R ,belly B ultrasonic and sex hormone including LH, FSH, T, E2, PRL, P , limosis blood sugar and basic insulin.Results: the type of phlegm and damp was 38, the type of weak kidney with the stagnation of blood was 18, the stagnation of liver was 4; 30 cases were obviously effective, 23 cases were effective, 7 cases were no effect, 12 cases of 24 no pregnancy were pregnant, the tatol effective rate was 88.33%, the rate of pregnancy was 50.0%. F-G, WHR, BMI fail to a degree, the LH, T, PRL of the blood serum and basic insulin fail obviously, the volume of the ovary was normal or reduced, the volume of the ovary was deduced, the clinical symptom and the indexs of the patients obstained the improvement.Conclution: applying the traditional Chinese medicine of making the fuction of kidney and spleen normal, drying dampness and melting phlegm, catharsis liver and clearing the heating, and promoting blood circulation based on the pathogeny and mechanism of PCOS, curative effect is affirmed and no side-effect. The mechanism of curative effect perhaps urges the ovary function to ovulate and improves procreating and procreating by whole regulating the synthysization and exudation of the sex hormone , modulating beiow the function of the thalamencephalon-pituitary-ovary axes, improving insulin resisting and reducing male-hormone .
