The Clinical Curative Effect Observation In Treating Benigh Prostatic Hyperplasia With Electro-Acupuneture

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Electro-Acupuncture acupoint ShenShu, CiLiao and HuiYang on Benigh Prostatic Hyperplasia, and to observe&evaluate its results.Methods: 92 patients with BPH were randomly divided into a treatment group (48 cases treated by Electro-Acupuncture) and a control group(44 cases by medicines HaLe). The IPSS, BS velocity of urine running off(Qmax) , volume of the prostate(V), remaining urine after urinate(R) were observed before and after treatment.Results: In the treatment group the highly effective rate and total effective rate 54.17% and 100%, BOO were obviously relieved. IPSS,BS,R,V decreased, Qmax increased. So, the treatment results of the treatment group are superior to those of the control group.Conclutions: Electro-Acupuncture acupoint ShenShu, Ci Liao, HuiYang is obviously effective in treating BPH. The results reveal that Electro-Acupuncture acupoint ShenShu, CiLiao and HuiYang can relieve BOO and reduce BPH.
