| Objective: to analize the different connective area design in all-ceramic FPD .Methods: Divide 80 standard model into 4 groups, and carve wax pattern with different curvature radius.Each group has 10 models made in IPS-Empress and 10 made in In — ceram Alumina.Analysis its maximum fracture resistance in 3- dimensional finite elemental analysis software. Results:The 0.9mm curvature radius of gingival embrasure has larger fracture resistance than 0. 3mm, while the occlusal embrasure has little effect on fracture resistance. And the PFDs made with In —ceram Alumina has larger fracture resistance than those made of IPS-Empress.
