Successfully Using Chemotherapy-Based Combineded Therapy Rescued Two Cao Cases Caused By Lung Cancer And Literatures Reviewing

The incidence of lung cancer continuse to increase worldwide . As some data indicated, the mortality of the lung cancer has been at the first place in the male patients with malignent tumors, as well as the second place in the female patients. Among the reasones of the death , the suffocation caused by the central airway obstruction (CAO), which initiated by the carcinoma in the advanced stage , occupies 6.7 percents . The main treatments of CAO were some partly palliative therapies as the literatures recorded , such as radiotherapy or placement of airway stent, which can relief symptom .This article reported two cases with CAO caused by the advanced stage of lung cancer. Because they can not receive the therapy above ,we treated them by the chemotherapy combinded best supportive care . In this way,the life quality of the two cases was improved.We concluded the chemotherapy-based treatments combined with best supportive care can be used in the CAO cases caused by the advanced stage of lung cancer,.
