Purpose: To Study the effect nodal involvement on survival in BTCC cases treated with radical cystectomyMaterials and methods: We retrospectively studied 94 BTCC cases treated with radical cystectomy and bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy. The relations among pathological grade, clinical stage , nodal involvement and patients survival were investgated. Results: Of 94 BTCC cases nodal involvement was demonstrated 31 cases (32.9%). Pathological grade, clinical stage and nodal involvement correlated with patients survival. Three-year-disease-free survival of nodal negative patients was 73.0% while three-year-disease-free survival in nodal positive cases was 48.3%. When the clinical stage was high three-year-disease-free survival was low; when the pathological grade was high three-year-disease-free survival was low; when the nodal involvement was more than five three-year-disease-free survival was only 12.5%.Conclusions: Nodal involvement, pathological grade, clinical stage can be taken as the predictors in cases treated with radical cystectomy...
