Correlations Between Heart Qi Deficiency Syndrome Of TCM And Ventricular Systolic And Diastolic Function In Patierts With Coronary Heart Disease

Objective: To explore the correlations between heart qi deficiency syndrome of TCM and ventricular systolic and diastolic function of CHD patients, providing some objective and microcosmic indexes for syndrome differentiating of heart qi deficiency in CHD patients.Methods: 84 patients with CHD (34 SA) were selected. They were devided into heart qi-deficiency syndrome group(30 cases), phlegm-turbid syndrome group(27 cases) and blood-stasis syndrome group(27 cases). And 30 normal people were taken to be comparison group. The inside diameter of left atria(LA), inter ventricular septium(IVS), ejection fraction of left ventricular(EF)% and the changes of mitral in flow(VE, VA, E/A, DEC, DT, IVRT) were measured by Doppler echocardiography.Results: (1)The LA, IVS, VA , DT, and IVRT in CHD group were higher than those in comparison group .while the VE, E/A, DEC and EF% were significantly lower(P<0.01).(2)And there were no significant differences among the CHD group(P >0.05).(3)The VE , E/A in heart qi -deficiciency syndrome group were lower than those in phlegm-turbid syndrome group and blood-stasis syndrome group(P< 0.05),while there were no differences between the latter two groups(P>0.05).(4)The DEC in heart qi-deficiency syndrome group was lower than that in phlegm-turbid syndrome group(P<0.01) and blood-stasis syndrome group(P<0.05),while there nodifferences between the later two groups. (5)The DTJVRT in heart qi-deficiency is longer than those in phlegm-turbid syndrome group and blood-stasis syndrome group ,while there were no differences between the latter two group(P>0.05).Conclusion: The VE , E/A , DEC , DT , and IVRT in CHD patients of heart qi-deficiency of TCM are significantly different from the patients with phlegm-turbid syndrome or blood-stasis syndrome. The examination of Doppler echocardiography could be taken to ecaluate the ventricular systolis and diastolic function of CHD patients with heart qi-deficiency Syndrome.
