After more than 100 years of studies and developments, the endoscope had taken an important role in the diagnosing medical instrument. In recent years, wireless electronic endoscopes with characteristics such as high-resolution, electronic formation of image, indolence have appeared,and have been taken into practice. No matter considering the development trend of PACS, or meeting the needs of hospital's scientific management, or making it be convenient for doctors to observe and diagnose, the pattern process of the endoscope and work station are all an indispensable part. This paper's study bases on the former background. Processing and analysis of enteron wireless endoscope image on the basis of the computer system has not only improved the clinical efficiency greatly, reduced the doctors'labour intensity, offered beneficial help to the hospital informationization and the standardization of enteron disease diagnose, but also been convenient for medical resource-sharing, remote medical consultation with specialists.This paper is to research and develop a set of enteron wireless endoscope image processing system and image browsing workstation. From both theory and practice, the paper discusses deeply with the image computer processing of the wireless endoscope system and the analytical method. First the software and hardware of the wireless endoscope system has been introduced, and then the image preprocessing of the workstation, including image compression, image restoration, image enhancement, image denoising, image smooth filtering, image sharpening etc. This paper describes the image processing based on the wavelet transform emphatically, such as image compression, image enhancement, smooth filtering, image sharpening etc. The paper completes the work such as image preprocessing, image browsing, image acquisition and conservation, database of the wireless-endoscope image-work-station etc.
