In moden medical science, medical image technology has already become doctor's essential means and tool. The quality of medical image influences directly doctor's diagnosis and treating to the disease. The medical images often are mixed with various kinds of noisesduring the process of getting. Such as cholangiopancreatography (MRCP),helical computed-tomographic cholangiography (HCT-C),endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP) images, when the attenuation coeffieient is no appreciable appreciable distinction between pathological organization and normal organization, the focus will be not distinguished by high noise MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP. MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP diagnosis can draw a conclusion based on the normol or abnormal information provided by MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP images. The accordant degree of diagnosis lies on image quality.High quality MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP images are the precondition of accurate diagnosis. It is necessary to reduce the influence of the noise as much as possible. So the dissertation introduces a wavelet method to treat wih MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP images of common bile duct stones. On the basis of proper wavelets selected and wavelet theory and method, we de-noise the MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP images of common bile duct stones successfully and enhance the MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP images successfully.New modalities, namely, MRCP,HCT-C,EUS and ERCP, have been studied recently for the detection of common bile duct (CBD) stones based on wavelet transform and compared to conventional images. Forty-eight patients clinically suspected of having CBD stones were enrolled, excluding those with cholangitis or a definite history of choledocholithiasis. Each patient underwent EUS, MRCP, and HCT-C prior to ERCP, the result of which served as the diagnostic gold standard.MRCP or HCT-C will be the first choice because they were less invasive than EUS. MRCP and HCT-C had similar detectability but the former may be preferable considering the possibility of allergic reaction in the latter. When MRCP is negative, EUS is recommended to check for small CBD stones.
