Objective: to study the influence of Xinqin tablets, Xinqin oil and Xinqin tablets containing oil on guinea-pig nasal hypersensitivity, rat homologous passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) and anti-analgesic studies in mice. Method: 2,4-Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) selected for antigen, which was used in nose to establish guinea-pig allergic rhinitis; rat homologous passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) caused by antiserum; Anti-analgesic studies using hot plat test and writhing test in mice which were employed to study the effect of Xinqin tablets. Xinqin oil and Xinqin tablets containing oil on symptoms of nasal hypersensitivity in guinea-pigs, histamine content of nasal mucosa, rat homologous passive cutaneous anaphylaxis, and analgesic.Result: Xinqin tablets, Xinqin oil and Xinqin tablets containing oil could significantly relieve the pathological symptoms of nasal hypersensitivity in guinea-pig, reduce histamine content of nasal mucosa, inhibit rat homologous passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) , and inhibit the writhing action induced by acetic acid and enhance the analgesic effect induced by hot-plat test in mice . Conclusion: Xinqin tablets, Xinqin oil and Xinqin tablets containing oil prevent theoccurrence of allergic rhinitis.
