Objective: To study hepatitis B PreS1 Antigen in relation to HBVDNA and prognosis of chronic hepatitis B. Methods: 248 patients with hepatitis B included 28 patients with AHB, 190 patients with CHB and 30 patients with cirrhosis or Liver Cancer. 46 patients accepted IFN for six months, 58 patients accepted follow-up of Pres1 and liver function. ELISA and Fluorescence PCR was used in analysis of Pres1 and HBVDNA. Results, Positive rate of Pres1 in patients with HBeAg-positive is 86.99%, positive rate of pres1 in patients with HBeAg-negative is 35.69%(p<0.05). In 146 patients with HBsAg-positive and HBeAg-positive, positive rate of Pres1 is 86.99%, positive rate of HBVDNA is 91.10%, correspondence was shown in Pres1 and HBVDNA. Coincidence rate of the two index is 75.40%. Correspondence was also shown in Pres1 and HBeAg, but in patients with HBeAg-negative and liver function-abnormal, positive rate of Pres1 is 74.29%, Positive rate of HBVDNA is 68.57%, in patients with. HBeAg-negative and normal liver function, positive rate of Pres1 is 11.11%, positive rate of HBVDNA is 7.41%, In 30 patients with cirrhosis or liver cancer, positive rate of pres1 was higher than that of HBeAg and HBVDNA. In patients with persistence of Pres1, the rate of liver function-abnormal repeatedly is 58.06%,12.90%patients lead to...
