Mortality rate and disable rate ofthem are very high. It is very signifacent for patients to make accureteand quick diagnosis as soon as possible. Nowdays usually method isMagnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA), DigitalSubtractionAngiography (DSA), Computeried Tomography Angiography (CTA).MRA is only an assistant means and not applied wildly in diagnosis ofcerebral vessal disease, Because it need long time in performing and isflounced easily by blood flow, so it is Traditional method DSA isalways considered as the goden standard for diagonosing ofintracerebral Aneurysms (AN), Artery vein malformation (AVM),MoyaMoya. But DSA aslo exist its own drawbacks, for instancetraumatic occlusion and invading in performing, radical damaged foroperators and patients, long time in examnation, many sydroms,expensive cost, it is unfit for filter examnation for suspicious patientsof aneurysms. Because of these disadvantage, sometimes DSA candelay diagnosis and treatment. CTA is non-invasive and performingeasly and quickly, complication and cost are few, 3D image,sensitivity is high, it fit very wildly and so an, it win more and morepraise in the recently clinical application.Recently years CT technology developed very quickly, CT haschanged from single row to double row, 4 row, 8 row from single row.Its scaning speed more and more fast, thicknees more and more thin,collect more and more informations, postprocessing programe'sfounction more and more abundant and accurate. its developing trendhave possibillity of taking the place of DSA. 16 slice spiral CT is anew behalf of new genoration CT. scaning speed is more quickly,thickness is more thin (most thin is 0.625mm) information's quantityis abudence. Postprocessing image is more clear and accuratly. it makeCTA's to have more superiority. It is very less that 16slice spiral CTperformed CTA in reporting and reported patients number is not much.For understanding CTA's superiority clearly and weather taking placeof DSA or not, we have studied the following.We collect 234 case from October in 2003 to February in 2005 inour hospital and research. Among 234 cases CTA there are 184 postivecases. Aneurysms were 167cases. AVM are 15 cases. MoyaMoya are 5cases. In DSA of 94 cases, there are 83 cases aneurysms, AVM are 4cases, MoyaMoya are 2 cases. By surgry and interventional treatmentit indicates that 164 cases are aneurysms, AVM are 15 cases,MoyaMoya are 5cases. Two examination of 94 cases CTA dicovery 84cases are aneurysms and 94 aneurysms'body and AVM are 4 cases,MoyaMoya are 2 cases. DSA discovery 83 cases aneurysms and 89aneurysms'body, AVM are 4 cases, MoyaMoya are 2 cases. By surgryand interventional treatment it is proved that 84 cases are aneurysmsand 94 aneurysms'body, AVM are 4 cases, MoyaMoya are 2 cases. Itis very clearly that quality of the image intracerebral vessels ofLightSpeed 16-slice spiral CTA angiography. Reconstruction imagescan display three dimensional image and more tiny branches of brainarteries and it plays an important role for the diagonosis of cerebralvascular disease. It can display clearly relationship betweeninstracranial diseases and near vessel .It can show 4-5 branches ofmiddle cerebral arteries well.
