Objective:To investigate the clinical value of 64-MSCTA in the diagnosis of intra- and extracranial arteries stenosis. Subjects and methods : 100 patients underwent subtraction 64-MSCTA.Imagine generation time and quality of the standard and subtraction were compared;115 patients underwent 64-MSCTA and other examinations. Internal carotid artery and middle cerebral artery were selected and their imagines quality were evaluated and divided into 1 ~ 5 grades;64-MSCTA was compared with the golstandard DSA and its clicinal value was calculated. Results: .The new subtraction technique of 64-MSCTA needs less time compared with routine reconstraction methold and the quality of the subtraction imagines was better at the same time;MIP is the best reconstruction method of showing internal carotid artery,three ways have no statistical difference in the diagiosis of middle cerebral artery; 64-MSCTA and DSA were statistical correlated; The sensitivity .. specificity,accuracy,positive predictive value,negative predictive value are97.8%,99.7%,98.5%,91%,98.9%. Conclution:The new subtraction technique of 64-MSCTA is a accurate imaging method and has a high clinical value.
