Objectives: Breast cancer is one of the most familiar malignant tumor in women, ER, PR, HER-2 are common biological marker in breast cancer. Operation is a major method among synthetical therapy of breast cancer. According to all kinds of expression of postoperative ER, PR, HER-2 ,adopting different treatment strategies according to all kinds of person, which is an important evidence in individual treatment in breast cancer nowadays. Postmenopausal women with breast invasive ductal carcinoma is a common colony in breast cancer, which have their certain particularity, We study the expression and clinicopathologic correlation and significance of ER, PR and HER-2 in postmenopausal women with breast invasive duct carcinoma in order to probe clinic application merit. Methods: 57 cases of postmenopausal women with breast invasive duct carcinoma were examined by retrospective study for the location and expresson of ER, PR, HER-2 with immunohistochemistry , the relationship between ER, PR, HER-2 expression and lymph node metastases, tumor size ,TNM clinic staging and histological grade. Results: ER, PR showed nuclear staining ,HER-2 was located in cell membrance in breast invasive duct carcinoma cells in postmenopausal women. The positive rate of ER, PR and HER-2 expression was 49.1 % ,45.6 % and 50.9 % , respectively. ER expression has a positive correlation with histological grade(correlation coeffectients -0.271 ,P<0.05),a positive correlation with PR(correlation coeffectients 0.748 ,P<0.01),a negative correlation withHER-2(correlation coeffectients -0.347 ,P<0.01); HER-2 expression not only has a...
