Objectives: To use a multicenter study to evaluate the diagnostic accuracyof DOPASCAN with SPECT/CT in patients with Parkinson disease(PD), and through testing the uptake function of 99mTc-TRODAT-1 in striatum and semi-quantitive analysis of striatum/cerebellum in patients of different PD stages and essential tremor(ET), and in healthy controls(HC) and evaluating the correlation between stiatum/cerebellum and UPDRS score. To investigate the potential usefulness of 99mTc-TRODAT-1's SPECT/CT imaging in the evaluation of patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods: Eighty-nine individuals with known clinical diagnosis wereimaged with DOPASCAN with 99mTc-TRODAT-1 SPECT/CT systems. Parkinson Disease patients was assessed by the Hoehn and Yahr staging and all were under Hoehn and Yahr stage III, and Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale after 12 hours off drug. Nineteen age-matched healthy volunteers(10 men, 9 women) served as control. 99mTc-TRODAT-1 was prepared from a lyophilized kit, shook steadily, heated in the boiling water for 30 min, then took it out and let it cool down in the room temperature, then we got the 99mTc-TRODAT-1. The subjects was injected 99mTc-TRODAT-1 1110MBq(30mCi) intravenously 30min after 1 ml NALsolution was given orally. Brain SPECT/CT imaging was performed between 165-195 min after injection with 99mTc-TRODAT-1. Specific uptake in striatum and its subregions, including the putamen and caudate nucleus, compared with that of the other sides and of healthy volunteers.
