Objective:To preliminary study about the effect of "QiXiang" aerosol on influenza virus A3, We examined the lymphocyte transformation and the serum levels of cytokine IL-2,IFN in blood serum in normal mice that deglutited the "QiXiang" aerosol seven days. Methods: In order to deeply probe into "QiXiang" aerosol's antiviral effect and provide new drug for clinic, antiviral experiments of "QiXiang" aerosol were carried out, both in vitro and in vivo.In the experiment of in vitro, "QiXiang" aerosol 's antiviral activity to influenza virus A3 was studied and compared with the activity to Banlangen, which is a extensively used traditional Chinese medicine. In the experiment of in vivo,Mice were randomly divided into normal control group,Cyclophosphamide group,Cyclophosphamide group plus medicine group and medicine group. The stomaches of mice medicine way was gived. Each group were treated for one week respectively. A week later, to measure the contents of cytokine IL-2 in mice's splenocytes with ELISA test, the fuction of lymphocyte transformation with FCM method, the contents of cytokine IFN in blood serum with CPE method. Results: " QiXiang" aerosol might inhibit the influenza virus A3's replication( P <0.01),promote IL-2 production of ConA stiumlate splenocytes in mice significantly( P <0.01),promote the positive proliferation of CD3,CD4,CD4/CD8 and make CD8 declined among the T cell lines( P <0.01).In the mean while, " QiXiang" aerosol might produce some extent IFN(P<0.01).In additon, the experiment of inhibition bacteria shows it has some antibacterial actions. Conclusion: "QiXiang" aerosol has obvious antiviral and antibacterial actions.
