Expression Of IL-20 And IL-20 Receptor In The Patients With Psoriasis Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells And Controls

To determine the expression of IL-20 and IL-20 receptor in the patients with psoriasis peripheral blood mononuclear cells and controls , RT-PCR assay was used to detect the expression of IL-20 and IL-20 receptor in peripheral blood mononuclear cells ( PBMC ). It was found that IL-20 receptor mRNA is lower level in PBMC from psoriatic patients than those from controls ( P < 0.05 ) . But IL-20 mRNA is higher level in samples of patients with psoriasis peripheral blood mononuclear cells than controls. The results suggest that some of IL-20 combind with IL-20 receptor as soon as it is producted;and others' is transfered to the target organ -skin. IL-20 is expressed in PBMC from both the patients with psoriasis peripheral blood mononuclear cells and controls , but the expression of IL-20 mRNA is down regulated in PBMC from psoriasis peripheral blood mononuclear cells patients.
