| Objective: To study the clinical usefulness of 99mTc-HL91 hypoxia imaging and 99mTc-MIBI imaging for diagnosing lung neoplasms, and to assess the relation between results of imaging and patients' prognosisMethods: 99mTc-HL91 hypoxia imaging was performed in 19 patients with primary lung malignant tumors and 10 control subjects. 2 patients after undergoing chemotherapy were reexamined. 99mTc-MIBI imaging was performed in 18 patients with primary lung malignant tumors and 10 contrast people. 2 patients after undergoing chemotherapy were reexamined. 99mTc-HL91 hypoxia imaging combined 99mTc-MIBI imaging were performed in 16 patients. Patients were performed SPECT tomograph imaging at 2h after intravenous injection of 99mTc-HL91 and at 2-3h after intravenous injection 99mTc-MIBI. Region of interest (ROI) were drawn in the tumor and contralateral position to calculate the radioactivity ratios of tumor to normal(T/N). Patients also underwent CT and pathology exam. Patients had followed for 18 months. Results: The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 99mTc-HL91 imaging on the lesion of lung tumor was 85.7% (18/21), 90.0% (9/10),87.10% (27/31), respectively. The sensitivity of lymphaden imaging was 64.7% (11/17). The imaging of 10 control subjects was negative. T/N ratios of 99mTc-HL91 imaging on the lesion-to-normal lung tissue in better groups and death groups were 2.07±0.53, 3.14±0.76 (t=2.52, p<0.05), respectively. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 99mTc-MIBI imaging was 75.0% (15/19), 90.0% (9/10), 82.8% (24/29), respectively. The sensitivity of lymphaden imaging was 52.9% (9/17). T/N ratios of 99mTc-MIBI imaging on the lesion-to-normal lung tissue in better groups and death groups were 3.43±0.62, 1.98±0.75 (t=3.38 p<0.05), respectively. On the 99mTc-HL91 combined 99mTc-MIBI imaging, The sensitivity of 99mTc-HL91 hypoxia imaging on the lung tumor and lymphaden was 83.3% (15/18), 56.25% (9/16), respectively. Meanwhile the sensitivity of 99mTc-MIBI imaging on the lung tumor and lymphaden was 72.2% (13/18), 53.3% (8/15), respectively. There were no significant differences of the sensitivity between them (p>0.05).Conclusion: 99mTc-HL91 hypoxia imaging and 99mTc-MIBI imaging were high value in diagnosing lung cancer, lymphaden and predicting prognosis. |
