Hypoxia is an important characteristic of malignant tumor, and the presence of hypoxic cells in solid tumor is a common phenomenon. Hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF-1α) is a kind of transcription factor which generally exists in human beings and animals under anoxia condition, HIF-1α is the unique subunit to modulate the oxygen, and it also can decreases the sensitivity of tumor to radiation therapy and chemotherapy by step down the selected action of apoptosis and potential cell and expression of multidrug resistance gene eatl. The neo-adjuvant chemotherapy (NCT) has several benefits. First, it can control tumor growth and dissemination, eliminate micro-metastasis and decrease the drug resistance. Second, it can provide the evidence for the chemotherapeutic scheme by obtaining the information of sensitivity to the drugs. Third, it can reduce the tumor size that they may have a chance to be operated a breast remaining surgery. At present, the neo-adjuvant...
