Objective: non valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) is the one of most common persistent arrhythmias complicated by thrombosis and embolism which could cause the death or disable .Aspirin resistance is defined as the patient suffer from thromboembolism during aspirin-taking. Plasma C reactive protein (P-CRP) and hyperlipoemia is two of dangerous factor for AR .The present study was designed to assess the relationship between the Platelet aggregation, P-CRP, blood lipids and thromboembolism in NVAF patients, and to explore the effect of those factor on NVAF patients with AR.Methods: 16 patients with NVAF and thrombosis are involved, adminitering long-term aspirin before the occurance of thromboembolism ,which we called it aspirin resistance group(AR). Also, 24 NVAF patients without thrombosis are involved , adminitering long-term aspirin before joining the study. Which we called it aspirin sensitivity(AS) group (n=24). Platelet aggregation induced by ADP and EPI were measure by Optical Platelet Aggregation. Other data were obtained through the series of tests. Results:The means of platelet aggregation, the ratio of ADPPAG (M)>60%, EPIPAG(M)>60% and both of them in AR group are higher than AS group(P<0.05). ADPPAG(M)>60%, EPIPAG (M)>60% and both of them in AR group are higher than ASgroup(P<0.05). TC , LDL-C in AR group are higher than AS group(P<0.05). Aspirin dose in AR group is lower than AS group(P<0.05). There were no difference of P-CRP between AR group and AS group(P>0.05).Conclusion: platelet aggregation, TC , LDL — C may be the prognostication of NVAF patient with AR. Inadequate aspirin dose is probably the factor of AR .P-CRP is not the proper index to thrombosis in NVAF patient and AR patients...
