Clinic Study On The Relationship Between TCM Sydromes Of Metablize Syndrome And Insulin Resistance

Objectives: To research on the changes of index of HOMA and leptinendothelin. Materials and methods: 113 patients of metabolizesyndrome were selected as research subjects, and divided into 4 typinggroups According to the TCM differentiation standards of metabolize, thesyndrome of heat stomach and abiding spleen, the syndrome of phlegmand abiding spleen, to deficiency of QI and Yin. the deficiency of Yin andYang. 32patients belonged to the syndrome of heat stomach and abidingspleen, 29patients belonged to the syndrome of phlegm and abidingspleen, 25patients belonged to deficiency of QI and Yin.27patientbelonged to the deficiency of Yin and Yang. As the same times 23healthypeople were selected as controls. FPGwas measeured using means ofzymology. Leptin and endothelin were measured using RIA. And measureweight stature \ waistline and buttock line, then count out HOMA=FPFINS/22.5.BIM=weight(kg)/stature(m~2).WHR=Waistline(cm)/buttonckline(cm). Results: (1) the index of HOMA 113 patients of IR wassingnificantly higher than that of the normal controls (P<0.05). Theindex of HOMA of the healthy controls was the lowest then thedeficiency syndrome of Yin and Yang, the syndrome of heat stomach andabiding spleen, the syndrome of phlegm and abiding spleen, thedeficiency of Qi and yin follow in sequence.the differentiation of HOMAbetween the the deficiency syndrome of Yin and Yang and the deficiencysyndrome of Yin and Yang was not distinctive (P>0.05). (2) the level ofleptin endothelin, BMI WHR HDL-C LDL-C of the disease was higherthen the healthy controls.the level of the syndrome of phlegm and abidingspleen was the higher than that of another, the level of endothelin leptin,BIM WHR of the deficiency syndrome of QI and Yin. Conclusion: (1) the index of HOMA is closely associate with metabolize syndrome. (2) the index of HOMA may serve as a reference index of metablize syndrome. (3) the index of lepti^endothelin>BMl WHR may serve as the a reference index of deficiency of Qi and yin.
