Elementary Evaluation Of Multiple-slice CT Angioraphy In Diagnosis Carotid Artery

Object: to analyze imaging feature of multi -slice spiral CT(MSCT) in diagnosis of carotid artery diseases,and compared with DSA results, to elementary evaluate it's diagnostic significance. Method: 80case were involved in our study,in which, 15 patients were undergone DSA simultaneitly.we appreciate accuracy of MSCTA in diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis,and analyze quality of the images, speculate calcification in vessel wall displayed by various CTA restruction techniques. Result: in our study ,there are 15 case about 60 branches compared with DSA .sensitivity of MSCTA in diagnosis carotid artery stenosis is 85.71%, specialty is 92.7% ,negative value is 95%,keppa value is 0.81.and CTA display imaging quality well,evaluated artery rate of extracranial carotid artery, intracranial carotid artery and vertebral artery vary from 87.5%, 81.3 and 92.5%. furthermore CTA can display calcified plaque on artery wall well ,MIP correlated well with axial images. Conclusion: as one noinvosive examing methods in diagnosis carotid artery disease ,CTA will play a preferred role in diagnosis carotid artery disease.
