With the continual development of science and technology, noninvasivedetecting techniques of biologic tissue have made great progresses.Glucose concentration in human body can be decided by near-infraredspectroscopy analysis technique, which is a prospective method. Tissue is a kind ofhigh scattering, multi-layered heterogeneous medium. The propagation anddistribution of light in tissue will change with the fluctuation of physiologicalparameters. By detecting the light signals which carry information of fluctuationcondition, a mathematic model can be established to predict concentrations of thingsof our interest. Based upon former research of our group, this thesis studies theoptimal measuring condition of tissue optics and the relationship of glucoseconcentration and scattering coefficient with a double-integrating-sphere system. The contents of this thesis are as follows:1. Summarize the optical parameters of relationships between light and tissue.2. Design a double-integrating-sphere system which is applied to measuring tissueoptical parameters and improve the optical system. And evaluate theperformance of the whole measuring system.3. Give the method of compute variation of scattering coefficient induced byconcentration change of glucose based on theoretical analysis. Measure the opticalparameters of turbid media (milk and polystyrene), and focus on studying therelationship of scattering coefficient and glucose concentration with adouble-integrating-sphere measuring system.
