| Objective: To analyse the change and significance of mean ADC value in different b value in tumor tissue and non-tumor tissue before and after TACE. It provide to evidence that using DWI to judge the therapeutic effect of TACE and damage degree of non-tumor tissue. Methods: Conventional MRI and DWI were performed in 17 HCC patients, respective TACE preoperative and postoperative 7 days. To compare the change of mean ADC value in different b value in tumor tissue and non-tumor tissue before and after TACE.Results: When value of b was (50,100 ) s/mm~2, the change of mean ADC value in tumor tissue was not statistical significant (P>0.05). When value of b was (300, 500, 700) s/mm~2, the change of mean ADC value in tumor tissue has statistical significant (P<0.05). When b value was above 300 s/mm~2, the mean ADC value in tumor tissue step up gradually and postoperative tumor tissue mean ADC value was higher than preoperation. When value of b was 50 s/mm~2, the change of mean ADC value in non-tumor tissue has statistical significant (P<0.05). The postoperative non-tumor tissue mean ADC value was lower than preoperation. When b value was above 50 s/mm~2, the change of mean ADC value in non-tumor tissue was not statistical significant (P>0.05).When value of b was (1000 , 1300) s/mm , measuring data was impossible due to dim picture. Conclusion: To appreciate therapeutic effect of TACE for liver cancer, the b value range from 300 to 700 s/mm2 might be a better choice. DWI image , eADC image , ADC image and mean ADC value can reflect micro and ultrastructural change in tumor tissue after TACE. And the mean ADC value was quantizational standardization of early-stage treatment in liver cancer. |
