Studies On Pharmacy And Initial Pharmacodynamics Of Zhiouyiai Dispersible Tablet

Zhiouyiai dispersible tablet is mainly consisted of nine kinds of Chinese traditional herbs including Radix Panacis quinquefolii, Radix Ophiopogonis, Semen Coicis, Rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae , Caulis Dendrobii, Rhizoma Pinelliae, Radix Puerariae Lobatae, Rhizoma Curcumae, Radix Et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparata Cum Melle etc. According to many years clinical experimental results, it is effective in curing the gastrointinal side effect (such as nausea and emesis), liver and kidney injury and leukopenia during chemotherapy and radiotherapy.On the base of reliable effect in clinic, Zhiouyiai dispersible tablet has been studied on pharmaceutics and pharmacodynamics by modern research method. According to their different solubility, the effective components in the prescription were extracted in different ways. The optimal extracting conditions were screened by orthogonal design. The extraction of volatile oil and the combination of 6-cyclodextin with volatile oil and the preparation molding technique were studied with emphasis. Some results showed that the procedure is reasonable, stable and practical. The quality standards of Zhiouyiai dispersible tablet include the establishment of thin layer chromatography (TLC) identification of eight Chinese herbs in the prescription. We also established the constant determination methods of the Ginsenoside-Rb1, the Puerarin (by High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) and the Curcumol (by Gas Chromatography) . The results indicated that the methods were sufficiently exclusive, sensitive and reproducible. Initial pharmacodynamics results showed that the Zhiouyiai dispersible tablet could remarkably accelerate gastric emptying and intestines wriggling. It had an anti-emetic effect on CuSO4 induced vomit on the domestic pigeons and DDP induced vomit on the domestic dog model.
