Moreover the immunohistochemical techniques is easy in the basic unit hospital to develop, is advantageous for the promotion.Therefore we use the immunohistochemstry, study HSP70 and Fas in the non-small cell lung cancer tissues expression and with the clinical pathology characteristic relations, analyze HSP70 and Fas in the tumor expression relevance.The generalized analysis to research result of HSP70 and Fas could be used as a useful marker of a supplementary diagnostic and prognosis for patients with NSCLC. Examination of expression of two proteins may be helpful to judge biological behavior and prognosis of non-small cell lung carcinoma.Methods and Materials: 46 examples non-small cell lung cancer is the patient which in April, 2005 in our hospital, the masculine 34 examples, the feminine 12 examples, aging from 43 to 77 with a mean age of 60.61 years old. The expression of Hsp70 was closely related to lymphatic metastasis but not related to tumor's cell types,clinlcal staging and pathological grade. The expression of Fas was significantly related to tumor's clinical staging ,pathological grade and lymphatic metastasis, but not related to tumor's cell types.3. The level of hsp70 expression was negatively related to that of Fas (p<0.05). Conclusion: The overexpression of Hsp70 and the lowexpression of Fas correlate with the development and metastasis of non-small cell lung carcinoma. They could be the important gene for regulation tumor cell proliferation and apoptosis , so could be used as a useful marker of a supplementary diagnostic and prognosis for patients with NSCLC.
