Objective To investigate the relationship between serum intact parathyroid hormone , 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, circulation RAS activity and essential hypertension, and analyze their correlativity. Methods 30 patients with essential hypertension and 15 normal adults were enrolled in the study. Cytosolic free calcium concentrations ([Ca2+]i) in neutrophilic granulocytes were measured by flow cytometry (FCM).The serum levels of intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH) and 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3(1, 25- (OH) 2D3) were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The plasma levels of plasma rennin activiy (PRA).. angiotensin â…¡ (Aâ…¡) and Aldosterone (Ald) were tested by radio immunoassay (RIA), and those of calcium (Ca) and phosphonium (P) by automatic biochemical analysor. SPSS13.0 statistics software were applied to analyze the data.Resule The levels of [Ca2+]i, iPTH, Aâ…¡ and Ald in essential hypertension group were significantly increased, compared with those of control group (P<0.01). The levels of1, 25- (OH) 2D3 and PRA had no difference in two groups. The MAP was positively correlated with the levels of [Ca2+]i, iPTH, Aâ…¡ and Ald (r=0.713, r=0.581, r=0.684 P<0.01,r=0.388 P<0.05 ). The levels of iPTH were positively correlated with [Ca2+]i, and Ald (r=0.609 P<0.01, r=0.449 P<0.05 ),but negatively correlated with PRA (r=-0.382 P<0.05)There was no correlativity between MAP and 1, 25- (OH) 2D3.Conclusion 1. The essential hypertension patients have calcium ion metabolic disturbance,Cyto-solic free calcium concentrations are increased, and positively correlated with theMAP. 2. Thelevel of serum intact parathyroid hormone is correlated with high blood pressure.3. The level of 1, 25-(OH) 2D3 in essential hypertension patients has no abnormal change, the future study on therelationship between 1, 25- (OH) 2D3 and arterial pressure is needed. |
