| Objective To evaluate curative effect of stereo-tactiveoperation to treat hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage of basalganglion.Method 20 patients with HICH of basal ganglion wereselected by random sampling to be treated with stereotactiveoperation, while at the same time 20 were treated with cra-niotomy.Curative effect were contrasted by the rate of deathand the score of ADL in one months. Result In the 20 withstereotactive operation, 6 resulted good or excellentresult,5 moderate disability,5 severe disability,2vegetative state and 2 dead. In the 20 with craniotomy, 4resulted good or excellent result,6 moderatedisability,4severe disability,3 vegetative state and 3 dead.The rate of death of stereotactive operation is not obviouslylower than that of craniotomy (p>0.05),the rate of good andexcellent of stereotactive operation is higher than that ofcraniotomy (p<0.05).Conclusion stereotactive opera-tionto treat hypertensive intracere-bral hemorrhage of basalganglion is not only little damage,convenient and cheap butalso safe and effective. |
