The Clinical Significance Of The Number And Phenotypes Changes Of The Tumor Infiltrating Dendritic Cell In Gastric Cancer And The Anti-tumor Effects Of Dendritic Cell Induced From The Peripheral Blood Of Gastric Cancer Patients

【Objective】Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in clinical work, its prognosis was correlated with the depth of tumor invasion, histological types, clinical stages, lymph node metastasis and the tumor size. In recent years, many researches have revealed that dendritic cell (DC) had a close relationship with tumor. DC is the strongest antigen presenting cell (APC) in immunology system, it play an important role in immune reactions and anti-tumor effects. The decrease and dysfuntion of DC can lead to the genesis, development, invasion, metastasis of tumor. In this study, we mainly investigated the relationship between the number and phenotypes changes of tumor infiltrating dendritic cell (TIDC) and the biological behavior, clinicopathologic characters. In the same time, the correlation between TIDC, PCNA, AI were investigated to study the anti-tumor mechanism of DC. We investigated whether the DC induced from the peripheral blood of gastric cancer patients had the potent capacity of inducing anti-tumor effects, hoped to get a experiment evidence for DC vaccine used in clinical therapy.【Methods】The first part: The number of TIDC and the PCNA expression in 53 cases of gastric cancer and 25 cases of gastritis and gastric ulcer were investigated by immunohistochemistry method using anti-S-100 protein and anti- PCNA protein antibody.
