| Objective: To investigate the histogenesis of Sclerosing Hemangioma of Lung and to analyse the relationship between the imaging and the histology configuration typing so as to provide valuables for the early clinical diagnosis ,therapy and prognosis assessment. Method: Analysis 15cases of Sclerosing Hemangioma of Lung by immunohistology , oncopathology and imaging . Two-step histochemistry were applied to study its imrnuno-phenotypic feature with antibodies including EMA,MCK,Vimentin,Syn,CgA,CD34,the factor of VIII, S-100,CD68,Calratinin.AU date were compared and analyzed by SPSS11.5. Result: The histology is divided into three kinds of types :like-hemangioma,papillaly and entity . Most cases are mixed type . The solid cell and covering epithelium were positive co-express EMA,MCK,Vimentin; disperse positive CgA,Syn,S-100,none of them were positive including the factor of VIII,CD34,CD68,Calratinin . Chest x-ray ana CT show pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is a solitary ,round or oval, Well-defined mass or nodule non-lobulation .CT scan shows the density of the mass is homogeneous, similar to muscle . Three cases include calcification ,one with focus of cyst. Contrast-enhanced CT scan shows homogeneous enhancement of the mass .Ten masses enhanced significantly with a lot of component of hemagioma , Two masses enhanced slightly with a lot of component of papillary , One mass with a lot of component of entity,the rest was rarely. Sings on imaging are corresponding to the results of pathology .The patients were predominantly woman with an age range of 40 to 60 years.Most cases are asymptomatic and incidentally detected on a roution chest radiography .Prognosis is execellent after clinical therapy.Conclusion: Our result suggest that Sclerosing Hemangioma of Lung may derive from primitive respiratory epithliem .Signs on imaging are corresponding to the results of pathology . The patients were predominantly woman with an age range of 40-60 years. |
