Interlocking intramedullary nail has become one of chief fixing faculties which cure limb of the fracture of long tubular bone and it makes up the family which cure limb of the fracture of long tubular bone with all sorts of modern plates. Interlocking intramedullary nail's development and perfection is closely related to the development of fracture cure. The two main characteristics of AO technology are: firm fixing with pressure and single-stage concrescence of fracture. The shaft fracture cannot be easily cured even if follows the principles of AO in clinic practices, Secondly, there are a series of such failure reports of removing plates. Those disadvantages drive the change from AO to BO. Interlocking intramedullary nail technology follows such BO principles as 1), keep away from fracture parts to protect the clinging to partial parenchyma. 2), not sacrifice blood transmission to force the anatomic reduction of broken bones. If the bigger broken bones must be reduction, parenchyma's root part of transmitting blood must be saved. 3), internal fix materials with poor flexibility and good biological consistence. 4), reduce the touching areas between fixing things and boned needed to fix. 5), keep the minimum of time of...
