Purpose: Nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) is a multiple factor ophthalmopathy that concerns with many factors of whole body and the partial. To find out effects of all the related factors in NAION pathogenesy as far as possible and focalization treatment on NAION are very important to prevent it and reduce the pathological change degree. This research uses the red light of German HRA computer to photograph the fundus image, and uses computer automated analysis system to measure the diameter and area of optic disc, thus discusses the relations between shapes of optic disc and NAION. In order to comprehensively discuss the occurrence mechanism of NAION, this research also applies color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) to examine mean parameter of retrobulbar vessels, carotid artery and vertebral artery of the NAION patients, through compare the mean parameters among the disease eyes group, the normal fellow eyes group, the optic nerve atrophy group and the control group, and find out the hemodynamic changes of retrobulbar vessels at different stage of NAION, and discuss function of the change of hemodynamic in the NAION occurrence, the development and the extension. Expect to provide valuable theory basis on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the clinical NAION.
