PurposeTo study the growth effect of hepatic VX2 tumor, to analyses the value of multi-slice CT angiography(MSCTA) of the hepatic vascular anatomy, and to explore the value of MSCT perfusion in evaluation of hemodynamic change of the hepatic VX2 tumor after portal vein occlusion in rabbits.Materials and methods1. Forty New Zealand white rabbits weighted 2~3kg were randomly divided into four groups in 10 each group, including test group A, test group B, negative control group C and positive control group D. To the experimental rabbits in the group A, portal branch ligation(PBL) of the left external branch of portal vein was carried out at the time of implantation of the VX2 tumor tissue into the left external lobe. To the test group B, portal vein PBL of the left external branch was performed after 3 weeks of the tumor implantation of the left external lobe, and the ham operation in the control group C and group D.2. Three weeks later,MSCT plain scan, MSCT three-phase enhanced scan and MSCT perfusion scan were performed respectively on these rabbits of group A and group C by GE LightSpeed 16 scanner, and performed to the group B and group D at 5 weeks later. To the MSCT perfusion scan, plain scan was performed firstly in order to localize central slices of lesions, then imaging of four and identical slices in central slices of hepatic tumors were performed using CT cine.3. These images of MSCT scan were transmitted to AW4.2 workstation, then both arterial and portal phase 3D vascular imaging, using volume rendering(VR), maximum intensity projection(MIP) and multiplanar reformation(MPR) techniques, was conducted. The time-density curve(TDC) from regions of interest drawn over the abdomial aorta,...
