Objective:To establish temporal bone impact injury models which be applied for researching the certain situations of the temporal bone fracture in disparately impact patterns, were investigated the features and mechanisms of the temporal bone fracture as well as the lateral cranial base trauma after the temporal bone impact.Methods:1.Six human cadaver heads were scanned the cross and coronal section with SCT before the impact.Fixing the cadaver heads on the stand of the type BIM-II biologic impact machine, that have been exposed the impact area to the obverse front side of the impact tip and merged the central area of the impact tip, with the different driving pressures to the impact areas that be scanned the cross and coronal section with SCT after the impact which contrasts to the original sections before the impact.2.The impacted cadaver heads were scanned with the 64-slice VCT.The three- dimensional images of the temporal bone were obtained from VR in ADW4.2 figure workstation.3.The impacted temporal bones figures which were obtained from MIP have been matched to the figures from SCT.4.The figures of the fracture line of the temporal bone from CPR have been made contrasts and analyses to the figures from SCT.Results:1.The establishment of the temporal bone impact injury models according to the three levels ranging from minor, moderate and severe impact. The minor impact injury model could be defined as the soft tissues damage and temporal bone fracture which were occurred to some certain stratifications;the moderate impact injury model could be defined as the ipsilateral temporal bone linearity fracture, with contrecoup fracture after the impact;...
