Objective: To study the technical and other factors of the compliance and acceptance of CPAP therapy in sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (SAHS) patients, and try to find validity methods to improve the compliance of CPAP therapy.Methods:⑴We design a special SAHS census table and The Faith in People Scale for making an investigation in two groups: 60 SAHS patients and 100 healthy people as contrast group. Study the information from this census, we discuss the psychology factors, social factors, economic factors which act on the compliance of CPAP therapy, and suggest proposition to improve them.⑵We use 10%(mg/ml) R-Chlorphenamine suspension drop into nasal cavity of 19 patients who have nasal symptoms during nCPAP therapy, 5 to 10 minutes later, smear Medical Vaseline in their nasal cavity to protect nasal mucosa, compare their tolerate times to nCPAP before and after the suspension drop; For 10 of them, measure their Total Sleep Time (TST), sleep efficiency (SE) and average SpO2 a week before and later after nCPAP , and the corresponding data by use BiPAP therapy for one night, compare these three data groups, we can verify the suspension and vaseline may have good effects to relieve the nasal symptoms caused by nCPAP, and may improve compliance and acceptance of nCPAP, so we will provide a clinical evidence to improve the technical support for nCPAP therapy.Results:⑴Census results: sixty patients and one hundred healthy people for contrast: only 43.3% and 5% people of each group roughly understand SAHS, 56.7% and 95% for each know little about SAHS or...
