Objective:Now,the best Rx for CNS diseases, such as PD and AD, is transplanting neuralcells. As the source of neural cells, stem cells are increasingly attentioned. In particular, it has been shown that human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells can give rise to cells of different tissues, including neural cells, hepatocytes and myocytes, expanding their differentiation potential. But few reports were about the neuroreceptors on the neuron-like cells-derived from human bone mesenchymal stem cells(hBMSCs).It is well known that neurotransmitters mediate many functions of neuron, and neuroreceptors are essential for neurotransmitters to exerting their functions. Firstly, neurotransmitters must be identified by neuroreceptors which are on the cell membrane; Secondly, signal transformation system on the cell membrane transfer this signal into endocell , then the cells could emerge the corresponding function. When neuron is stimulated by internal or external environment, all kinds of neuroreceptors would be as some doors to bear the brunt . The mechanisms of signal transformation on different neuroreceptors are different, even if different subtypes of the same neuroreceptor would not be complete identical. So, different and identical neurotransmitters could make cells exert completely different physiologic functions.
