Pharmacokinetics And Relative Bioavailability Of Nevirapine In Chinese Healthy Volunteers

Acquird immunedeficiency syndrome (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, AIDS) is a great epidemic threatening disease, is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (human immunodeficiency virus, HIV ), particularly the strain known as HIV-1. Nevirapine, a novel non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor(NNRTI) combined with nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors(NRTI) or protease inhibitors(PT), can be used in treatment of patients with HIV infection. AS an agent used alone , nevirapine can prevent vertical transmission or HIV infection. The pharmacokinetics of report has not been found about nevirapine in china up to now. The pharmacokinetics of nevirapine (both imported and domestic) pharmacokinetics in Chinese healthy volunteers is reported in this thesis and it will provide academic foundation for the development and clinical use of nevirapine.Objective To study pharmacokinetics academic foundation and clinical use of nevirapine.Methods A single oral dose 200mg of two nevirapine oral solutions was given to 20 healthy volunteers in a randomized cross-over study. The interval was 3 week. None of the subjects had a history of significant medical illness or hypersensitivity to any drugs. They were not alcohol addicted and were non-smokers. None of them had taken any other drugs for at least 2 weeks before the study and did not take any other drugs during the study.
