| The curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) results from an integrative interaction of many different components of TCM in human body. As a result, the traditional method that makes a qualitative and quantitative analysis for a single component d to control quality of TCM is gradually questioned. Fingerprints of traditional Chinese medicine evaluate the quality of TCM by mutual and individual character with the integrative overview. The research of fingerprints shouldn't only be done on the quality of TCM, but also on the curative effect of TCM that is maybe realized by the connection between fingerprints of TCM and pharmacokinetics and pharmacology with the integrative overview. Therefore, fingerprints of TCM should make a great breakthrough in the concept and application. The research on fingerprints of TCM was done by capillary electrophoresis (CE) with different buffer that was used to simulate physiological statement. First of all, the fingerprints of Acanthopanax Senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim) Harms were studied by microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography (MEEKC), and the absorption statement of the extract from Acanthopanax Senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim) Harms was predicted. Then, CE-FP of the extract from Acanthopanax Senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim) Harms that was imagined in alimentary canal was founded. Finally, the interaction between Ephedrine / the extract from Ephedra Herba and biomolecules was studied. The pharmacological mechanism of Ephedra Herba was discussed with the receptor-ligand theory's guidance by fingerprints. The results indicate that:1) The electrophoretic electrolyte of Microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography (MEEKC) was composed of a 1.0 % (w/w) SDS, 6.6 % (w/w) n-butanol, 0.7 % (w/w) n-heptane, 91.6 % (w/w) 25 mmol/L borate solution (adjusted pH 9.5 with NaOH solution). The separation efficiency of MEEKC was compared with CZE/MEKC. The MEEKC-FP has good precision, stability and reproducibility with the relative standard deviations (RSD) of the relative migration time less than 3.4 % and the RSD of the relative peak area about 6.3 %. This method provides a scientific standard for the quality controlling of Acanthopanax Senticosus (Rupr. et Maxim) Harms. There is a good prospect of MEEKC being used in the fingerprints analysis.2) The electrophoretic electrolyte was composed of a 10 mmol/L phosphate... |
