A Strategic Research On The Application Of Project Management In The Preclinical Research

Purpose: Regarding questions in the preclinical research in our country, we use some project management theories to improve the R&D leader' s management level and improve the efficiency of capital.Content: First, we prove project management theories applies to the preclinicalresearch; Secondly, choosing some theories and methods of project management, such as work breakdown structure, stage-gate processing etc,to analyse our pharmaceutical R&D practice. And though some cases, sum up some useful suggestions for preclinical research management in organizing, planning, process control, project culture.At the same time, though building some management flow, offer some formulized consider pattern.Method: (1)Though literature and expertise investigation, collecting the information of project management theories application in the preclinical research, problems and experience. (2) systems analysis and contrast analysis. Pay attention to the study's logicality and systems and contrast the preclinical research with other kinds of projects and other stages of new drug R&D practice. (3) Case study. Though some cases, analyzing the advantage, disadvantages and management proposal.Conclusion: (1) Project management theories can improve the management level of the preclinical research of our country. (2) We should pay attention to project organizing, planning, process control etc. Affirming the responsibilities and rights of the managers,so to implement the management. According to correlative rules, definite the project scope; Insure the plane is precise in time, resources and feasibility of the technique.And implement management by phase, according to key points. (3) Cultivate healthy project culture, thinking much of the person. (4) Besides the technical indexes, stakeholders should lake care of cost and market.
