Influence Of Invigorating Qi To Promote Blood Circulation Prescription On Smooth Muscle Cell Proliferation And Apoptosis In Vascular Wall After Rabbit's Vascular Intima Was Injured

Objective:To investigate the effect of invigorating Qi to promote blood circulation prescription (IQPC) on smooth muscle cell proliferation and apoptosis in high-fat fed rabbit's vascular wall after vascular intima was injured.Method: 32 Male New Zezland white rabbits were divided into four groups randomly. Before injured vascular intima which were fed by high-fat diet for 4 weeks except normal group.From beginning(first week) two kinds of medicine were fed respectively till the end.At the sixth week, serum total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low desity lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high desity lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) were measured.At the same time , the local vasculars were collected for Platelet derived growth facor-B (PDGF-B), c-myc and Insulin-like growth fator-1(IGF-1) levels measurement.Result: PDGF-B, c-myc and IGF-1 increased significantly in control group compared with the normal group(P<0.05). PDGF-B, c-myc and IGF-1 decreased in Chinese traditional medicine group which group was fed IQPC and western medicine group which group was fed Fluvastatin Sodium Capsules significantly compared with the control group.Conclusion:After vascular intima injured,PDGF-B, c-myc, and IGF-1 increased.Invigorating Qi to promote blood circulation can promote smooth muscle cell proliferation and restrain it apoptosis.
