ObjectiveTo evaluate the technique and the clinical application of multislice spiral CT angiography in diagnosing arterial diseases of the lower limb. Materials and methods1 .Multislice spiral CT angiography was performed in the control and 39 cases with suspected diseases of artery of lower limb .The spiral scans cover renal artery to the artery of the lower extremity, slice width 1000-1200mm,slice thickness 2.5mm, pitch 1.35-1.675, slice increment 1.25mm,the volume of contrast agent 100-120ml,flow rate 3.0-3.5ml/s.Scan with Smartprep auto-trigger in the control, and scanning delay time of the cases was determined according to the curve of Time-CT Value of the control. The method of reconstruction images included MIP,VR and MPR.Conventional digital subtraction angiography(DSA) was performed in 7 patients within 2 weeks before of after performance of CTA.2.The standard of the satisfactory image quality: the lower extremity artery and the 2nd-3rd grade branches are demonstrated clearly, and the veins are not displayed.3.The bilateral peripheral arterial trees were divided into 11 segments and the degree of the arterial stenosis was evaluated with five-grading system. 130 segments of the DSA and CTA data stenosis and occlusion was calculated. The sensitivity and specificity were calculated of the degrees of arterial stenosis and occlusion of the...
