Extremities fracture is common in clinic, the reduction and fixation is a difficult problem puzzled plastic surgeons because of its special anatomical position,It is well known that hydroxyapatite (HA) is a biocompatible material with good osteoconductiv properties and can promote early bone ingrowth . However, this bone substitute is mechanically weak and its particles might migrate from the site of the implant,on the other hand, the general hydroxyapatite are too brittle to trim .these shortcomings were restricted in clinical for unload-bearing bone repai. Therefore, how to enhance its toughness and aquire good mechanical property to satisfy the clinical need is a focus in materials field recent years. With the nano times coming, more and more nano techniques were applied in biomedical materials field.Due to the mineral in the natural bone exists in the form of nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HA) , forming a two phase inorganic-organic composite with collage. From biomimetric point of view, professor Yu-bao LI designed and develeped a biomimetric composite of...
