OBJECTIVE: Hemorrhage stroke is one of the severe type of acute brain vascular disease with high rate of incidence,morbidity and mortality. Studies show that hemorrhagic cerebral apoplexy takes 10%~25% of all kind of cerebral apoplexies. Except for the hematoma, the depravation of the disease is usually related to the secondary damage of perihematoma tissue, such as inflammatory response,cerebral ischemia,energy metablic disorder and the injury of oxygen free radical. In clinical practice,there is no effective method to cure this disease because of its complicated etiology.Sivelestat sodium, a synthesis specific micromolecular neutrophil elastase inhibitor,can attenuate acute lung injury. Clinical researches show that sivelestat sodium can reduce the injury of bronchoa epithelia and vascular endothiliua conducted by activated neutrophils, what is more, sivelestat sodium can decrease the permeability of vascular endothilia to restrain hemorrhagic lung injury.
