Objective:After the facial nerve injuried, the first retrograde reflectoin was happened in facial motoneurons; whether the facial nerve can regenerate is determinated by the survival of neuronal body as well as physiologic function of neuron. We established the FN injury modle, in which the upper bucal branch of facial nerve of Newzland rabbits was crashed, to investigate the expression and distribution of adhesion factor CD44 and CD56 in normol facial motoneurons (FMNs) and in facial motoneuron following facial nerve injuried, meanwhile the effect of electroacupuncture on CD44 and CD56 expression following facial nerve injuried is also studied. The study is aimed to evaluate the role of electroacupuncture in the regeneration after facial nerve injuried. Methods: 36 Newzeland adult rabbit with the same age of 6-8 months were selected, then divided into normol control group, surgery control group and acupuncture treatment group. Four rabbit in normol control group were taken inferior-middle part of pons( containing facial nucleus) without received any treatment. Rabbits were randomly divided into...
