"Glioma"was described first by Virchow, and there has been a revival of scientific and clinical interest in it .Because gliomas arising from the brain ,which are distinguished by certain histologic and clinical features ,more data from the study needed.Glioma is one of the most common complications,as the tumour which derives from neural epithelium.Gliomas constitute 60% of intracranial tumors. Their traits are the high incidence of a disease , the high recrudescent rate , the high mortality rate ,but the cured rate is very low. Despite the highly refined nature of contemporary microneurosurgery ,gliomas continue to pose significant technical challenges. Yesterdayness ,gliobalstomas and anaplastic astrocytomas together ,a slow advace was found. However, we series that grouped the diagnoses and treatments on gliomas may well development with advances in nouroimaging procedures , neurosurgical technipue , and stereotactic radiosurgery. Median survival after diagnosis was one year for patients and they had no good with quality of life considerations. There have been great progresses recent years on the diagnosis and treatment for gliomas , particularly in the developed areas in China ,although there are differences with developed countries. However ,it is still unsatisfactory on early detection and standard treatment for glioma in China , since the unequal development of technology in different areas. Currently , the vast majority of...
