Research background and purpose:The problem of drug dependence has feazed human for a long time, the population addictive to drug are increasing year after year, which has badly disserved the society and the economy. Narcotics have been the global social effects of pollution. According to the statistics in 2000, the registered population of druggers in China had been up to 860,000. And it was estimated that all kinds of druggers had accumulated to 3,900,000. At present, the main addictive drugs illegally used in China are opiates, which have badly disserved the families and society, thereinto Heroin is the most popular, with Opium following that. However, there is no effective therapeutics to most of the addicters yet, and especially the most difficult problem is drug addict over again caused by psychological dependence.Morphiomania includes both physical dependence and psychological dependence, where the most notable characteristic is to oblige seeking medicine and using medicine with the psychological demands or dependence as its key behavior. The physical dependence could be removed by medicines in a certain period, but the psychological dependence would still exist for a long period since the medicines were stopped. Indeed, if the medicines lost the effect, and the distinct syndrome appeared, the patient would seek and use the narcotics again. Addicter is hard to refrain from the addiction, so the recrudescent rate is seriously high. Therefore, the further research on neurobiological mechanism of addiction will be the elements of effective therapeutic and preventive measure.
