Objective: Milrione is an inhibitor of PDEⅢ, which has shown potentially favourable hemodynamic responses, the total oxygen Deliver (DO2) , Oxygen Consumption (VO2), Oxygen extraction ratio(O2ER) and the Oxygen derived free radicals . But the effect of milrione on intestinal aerobic metabolism was few report. The present study was therefore undertaken to investigate these problems in SMAO shock rabbits. Methods: Sixteen healthy rabbits were duplicated the SMAO shock model, then randomly divided them into two group(n=8): group A was control group; group B was remedied group, 50ug.kg-1 of milrione was infused and then continuously being pouring in milrione 0.5 ug.kg-1min-1 while removing artery clamp.During the experiment, we observed the arterial blood stream amount(SMAF) on the mesentery , MAP, HR, arterial, venous blood gas analysis and plasma MDA at before shock(-1h), 0h, 1h, 2h; calculated DO2, VO2,O2ER by formula. Results: After removed artery clamp the MAP, HR and SMAF of A and B groups were lower than -1h (P<0.05 或<0.01) ,which meaned that the shock model was duplicated successfully.During the 1-2 hours after removed artery clamp, compared with group A the MAP, HR , SMAF, DO2 and VO2 were increased(P<0.05 或<0.01), O2ER were not changed noticeably(P>0.05), plasma MDA were decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion: In SMAO shock rabbits, Milrione can considerably increase SMAF , DO2, VO2 and blood pressure, decrease the plasma MDA, it may be beneficial to the treateamt of shock. But O2ER were not changed noticeably.
