Children anoxia is most common in pediatrics clinic. According to the syndrome of stomach-Yin deficiency is common in Singapore, we brought forward the therapy method of regulating the spleen function and nourishing the stomach-Yin treating anoxia by massage and Chinese herb. On the basis of literature review and my tutor's clinical experience, we further proved that the key pathogenesis of children anorexia is dysfunction of spleen in transport and Yunpi is an effective method.Clinical research has been done to observe the effect of massage of Yunpi and prescription of xiaoer kaiweiheji which were made for the therapy principle of regulating the spleen function and nourishing the stomach-Yin to activating spleen in transport. Choosing 100 which were 50 in test group and 50 in contrast group with random method children anoxia with syndrome of dysfunction of spleen in transport and stomach-Yin deficiency identified with the criterion of diagnosis and effect for diseases and syndromes in pediatrics of TCM. The sex, age and severity of two groups have no statistic difference. Massage adding xiaoer kaiweiheji applied in the test group while xiaoer kaiweiheji in contrast group. Results: The clinical study showed that the recovery case, marked case, effective case and ineffective case in test group were respectively 10, 21, 15 and 4 while in the contrast group were 9, 6, 24 and 11. The total effective rate in the test group and contrast group were respectively 92% and 78%. Massage adding herb were better in relieving such clinical syndrome as poor appetite, anorexia and distention pain in the abdomen etc.The results indicate that syndrome of dysfunction of spleen in transport and stomach-Yin deficiency is most common in children anoxia in Singapore and therapy principle of regulating the spleen function and nourishing the stomach-Yin to activating spleen in transport is effective. Xiaoer kaiweiheji is effective in treating children anoxia with syndrome of dysfunction of spleen in transport and stomach-Yin deficiency. It is better if adding Yunpi massage. Yunpi massage is effective, cheaper and safe in treating children anorxia and should be widely applied in clinic.
