Effects And Mechanisms Of Shuluo On Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

SHULUO (SL) is an preparation extracted from paeoniae radix, Allolobophora caliginosa trapezoides , cape jasmine fruit ,whose therapeutic effect on cerebral ischemia has been proved by clinical and pharmacological experiments.In order to investigate the effect of SL on myocardial ischemia, we experiments had been conducted on the acute myocardial ischemia model, the cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes hypoxia injury model and the intracellular free calcium concentration of cardiomyocytes induced by the peroxidation injury model. It is arranged into four parts:1. Protective effects of SL on acute myocardial ischemiaThe acute myocardial ischemia models induced by ligating the anterior descending branch of the nearside coronary artery in dogs were established to investigate the protective effects of SL on acute myocardial ischemia. The results showed that SL was able to inhibit the increase of the heart, BP, S-T segment (∑-ST, N-ST), decrease the release of cardiac CK and LDH (P<0.05, P<0.01) , the myocardial infarct area (P<0.05, P<0.01) and increase the oxygen partial pressure in anesthetized dogs after ligating the left coronary artery.2. Protective effects of SL on MIRI injuryThe isolated rat heart is perfused by Langendorff and damaged by stopping perfusion, whose is established to investigate the protective effects of SL on the MIRI injury, based on the criteria of the HR, the flow of aeteria coronaria , the intracellular SOD and MDA release and the pathological change of cardiac muscle etc. The results showed...
